Mental Health Program
The Swahili Cultural Center offers a comprehensive Mental Health Program designed to support the well-being of Swahili-speaking youth and adults in Canada.
The program addresses the community’s unique challenges, including cultural adjustment, stress, and isolation.
Through culturally sensitive counseling, workshops, and peer support groups, the center creates a safe and welcoming environment where participants can openly discuss mental health issues.
The program also collaborates with mental health professionals to provide resources and strategies for coping and resilience, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging while promoting mental wellness.
